HTC Rezound Gmail App not Updating

Hi everyone,

I am new to this site and I recently just switched from Sprint's HTC Evo 3d to Verizon for the HTC Rezound. I love the phone but I keep getting my Gmail messages updating in my messages application and not in the Gmail application. It is kinda of annoying because I want to use the Gmail app but the messages are on push but they are coming thru late or not at all. Anyone having this problem too or know how to resolve it? Thanks!

Does your gmail addy appear in the 'accounts' section of the dedicated gmail app?

Does your gmail addy appear in the 'accounts' section of the dedicated gmail app?

I found the problem I double mapped the account through the google app and the gmail app thanks!
