What's it going to take for HTC to catch the attention of the mobile consumer market again? Will a hot new flagship be enough to spark customer interest? While that's a tough question to answer, HTC is probably moving forward with the assumption that it will. They obviously have nothing to lose, and we are still rooting for them, so their latest rumored device has our attention at least.

It's called the HTC One X9, and here are its rumored specs (and you can see a supposedly leaked image above):
    • 5-inch 2560 x 1440 display
    • Snapdragon 820 or Helios X20 chipset
    • 4GB of RAM,
    • 23 megapixel camera
    • 3,500mAh battery
    • 64GB or 128GB of storage
If they make that battery removable and squeeze in a microSD slot, this could be serious competitor. Of course, HTC needs to do a better job at marketing as well, but that's a separate story. What do you think of this device if this rumor is true?

Seems like this may not be a world market phone, but another regional device like the M8 Eye. Still nice to see that HTC is releasing what seems to be another quality product. Looking forward to the M10 rumors.

Sounds plausible except that battery will most likely be 2500mah
