Over the past couple of days we have been hearing how Sprint is rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop to their version of the HTC One M7. This may have left folks on some of the other carriers feeling left out in the cold.

Luckily, anyone with an Unlocked or Developer Edition of the HTC One M7 won't have to feel that way anymore. HTC just announced they are rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Dev and Unlocked versions of the HTC One M7.

Yea, but they have totally dropped the ball on the HTC Advantage programs. Everybody had been promised updates within 90 days and they didn't meet their mark.

Their update status page was out of date until about 2 days ago which was supposed to provide transparency to the update process was a total fail and now they have even screwed up the rollout to the sprint m7's.

They announced on sprint's web page that they were getting the update then yanked it twice.

HTC advantage has truly shown that it has nothing but lip service and nothing else to back it up.

What makes this more ironic is that unlocked and dev versions were not covered under htc advantage and they received updates before anybody else!

This is reminding me more and more of the VZW Galaxy Nexus debacle.
