Any recommendations for an aftermarket battery that I can use with the stock door? I have the Seidio 1750 and I am not overly impressed with it. Has anyone tried the 1500 or 1800 from Ebay? Thanks

I have been using the 1750 for some time now with no problems. I use my phone constantly. My girlfriend calls it my bff. [best freinds forever] I never run it down unless I do some heavy rom flashing/testing.

I charged it the first time for about 12 hours and I charge it every night while I sleep. Running cyanogen 6.1 rc2 with ziggy asop 1.15 kernal.

The best options for using the stock door (IMHO) are either an HTC 1500 mah battery (Touch Pro 2/EVO/Eris battery) or a third-party 1800 mah-rated battery available at htcexpress.com. The HTC 1500 mah battery (RHOD160) is a good battery and readily available in the $10-20 range. I am currently using this battery and my phone has been off the charger for about 13 hours with approximately 3 hours of awake time, and I'm at 38% remaining. I'm happy with that. Easily makes it through a day - yesterday I pushed it even harder, with about 200 texts, 1.5 hours Angry Birds, lots of web surfing, and some phone calling, and I was at 10% after 15 hours. Some people say the RHOD160 1500 mah battery makes their door stick up a bit; mine does not.

The 1800 mah battery from htcexpress is also getting rave reviews and has apparently tested at pretty close to its rated capacity. At $20 for a single battery it's a pretty good deal.

In my opinion - the best bang for the buck is the HTC OEM 1500 mah battery, followed by the 1800 mah battery.
