We married guys wouldn't use them for that but for the single ones out there I'm just giving you an example of what you can do with an EVO. Ok here's a better scenerio: Your grandad's dying in the hospital miles away. He says he want's to see you one last time and hear your voice. You want to see him to. You can't make it in time to the hospital but your sister is already there. She has a Evo. So do You. You make that video call to her phone.Grandad's last wish just came true thanks to EVO's dual cameras. How about that?

LOL @ these scenarios. But yes, an Evo would come in handy for that.

Video calls have given phone sex a new meaning. But of course you guys dont care about that sort of stuff.

For real? You are using phone sex as an added benefit?

How about chicks like being able to stay in contact with their boyfriends. That means one, they can't have ****ty coverage (Sprint is AWEFUL where I live) and two, they need a device that lasts longer than 5 hours (just like they need a guy that lasts longer than 5 minutes).

Phone sex is ****ing stupid. I would rather video chat on my laptop than on my phone. Or you know, actually have sex for real.

:rofl2:

Of course we don't!
LMAO You've got to think outside the box. You meet a two hot girls in a bar/club. One has a Evo. After a couple of drinks and a exchange of Tango (video calling app)numbers and guess what? In 10 minutes you'll see some amature porn streamed from the girls room. Try that with your bigscreen and laptop webcam.

LMAO.....The Evo looks like two things...an old iPhone 3 which also looked like a female personal grooming device. HTC build quality is junk as well. Battery life blows butt crack on the Evo.

Did you read the above? I just giving examples of how you can use the EVO's dual cameras for things that you just cant on the X. The Evo can do everything the X does but the X can't say the same. Therefore the Evo is the better phone. The minute that HTC Evo clone hits Verizon all of you X owners will ditch them for it.Even rooting and Rom developement is easier on the Evo.Go look at the number of Custom Roms for Evo and count up the handful for the X. I am a fanboy of the Evo, what's there not to love?

^"The EVO can do everything the X can but the X cant say the same...."

Only thing the X cant do is Front camera and 4G.....those 2 things alone make it the better phone huh....mind u the front camera and 4G need specific things in place to take advantage of them.

Now things the X can do that the EVO cant:

The camera is better on the X
Recording video is better on the X
Screen is better on the X
Gaming is better on the X
Battery life is better on the X
Call quality and reception, gonna have to give this to the X for the dual antennas and noise cancellation mic(s), 2 things the EVO doesnt have...like the front camera and 4G is something the X doesnt have. Thing is, the 2 antennas and noise cancellation can be used everyday. Cant say the same about 4G and the front camera...

I'm not saying the X is the better phone, but u cant dismiss the advantages it has. Like u cant dismiss the advantages the EVO has.

Due to my area, the 4G is a nonfactor. The only thing I used that the X doesn't have is the front facing camera. I just mainly want to switch networks and wanted an equivalent to the Evo on Verizon. Guess I'll roll with the Droid X, doesn't sound too bad.

With the Droid X broken in so many ways since the 2.2 update I couldn't suggest it to anyone.

With the evos battery you wont have time to have phone sex. I played with the evo. Its nice, but no swype keyboard....i like my swype over front facing camera.

P.s. Sprint offers 4g in like eight states that have a population of 50 people lol. Verizon will offer 4g nation wide before sprint. Sprint is worse than ATT

Evo4Life....... you really need to go into the store and play with each phone. You have questioned if the X is the best option for you in the X forum....... of course your going to get sarcastic, completely bias views on the X.
Can the X get free 3G mobile hotspot without having to root....nope. Did I love my X for the time I had it (2 days)...yes. It just was not for me, and I had originally gave my DINC to the wife and upgraded to the X.
We traded, since she don't mind carrying a bigger phone around in her purse, and loves the bigger screen.
I missed my free 3G mobile hotspot, and the comfort of the smaller phone in my front pocket...... bottom line is everybody will have different opinions on phones, and the only way to truely decide what you want is to try them out.
You have 30days to decide anyways.

I feel bad for all the people who think its free... Its not going to be hard for Verizon to figure out who did it and to slap all of you with a $20 tethering fee. Now being rooted on the other hand, they cant. But dialing out and bypassing activation is an easy trace.

Enjoy it while it lasts and dont be surprised when they slap you with an insane monthly bill.

FYI Verizon and Moto have users on this board who do nothing but troll and pass information back to both of them.

^ Couldn't have said it better myself. LOL. Don't be surprised if they even charge for all of the months it was used all on one bill.

lol....my bill is considered insane already.... I'm glad you have my bill in front of your face to be telling me what I need to be worried about. FYI.. I already pay $20 a month for "tethering"... They said that 3G mobile hotspot was not included in this. The rep on the phone is the one whom told me how to remove the dun. and use it anyways....

why do I care if MOTO is trolling? or VZW for that matter.... kinda hypocritical for you to shun me for a hack then boast about rooting...lol
