Although he hasn't officially "come out of retirement" it looks like that may be the case with @evleaks - aka Evan Blass. He has started sharing leaks again over the past few of months, and now we have two hot Android leaks back to back from him.

The latest intel is about the upcoming HTC Aero A9. Many of the rumors for the device over the last couple of weeks have suggested it to be a solid "hero" style flagship, but if @evleaks' latest info is accurate, that won't be the case at all. In fact, the device specs he revealed are disappointingly mediocre. Here's the recap:
    • 5-inch FHD AMOLED display
    • Snapdragon 617 processor
    • 2GB of RAM
    • 13MP rear-facing camera
    • 4 UltraPixel front-facing camera
    • 16GB of storage
    • 2,150mAh battery
    • A microSD slot
    • Fingerprint reader
    • Metal build
As you can see, this is basically a pure mid-range device. Perhaps HTC will offer it at an extremely affordable price?

Pretty good specs for a mid-range phone, now will the price match it?

Mid-Range phones are all the rage now.
