We have some hot HTC news to start your day. A huge swath of images have leaked which are very likely the HTC 10's back cover. In addition to the leaked images, there is a report which is supposedly from industry sources showing three different variants of the HTC 10.

Each device will fill a different marketing niche from low-end to high-end. All three will have a few things in common, including: 5.15-inch QHD Super LCD5 display -12-megapixel rear camera with a dual-tone LED flash, OIS, and laser Auto Focus - 3000mAh battery - Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense 8.0

Here's a breakdown of what the rumors say is different with each:

HTC 10 Model 3799 - Retail price of $584
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 652
  • 3GB RAM
  • 16GB Storage
HTC 10 Model 4999 - Retail price of $768
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 820
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 32GB storage
HTC 10 Model 5888 - Retail price of $905
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 820
  • 4GB RAM
  • 128GB Storage
Keep in mind that these exorbitant prices are simply the conversion price from Rupees. They are not likely the actual retail price for US markets. If they were, then they would be quite prohibitive.

Be sure to check out the rest of the images in the thread below, and also check out our dedicated HTC 10 section here: HTC 10 (HTC One M10)

Way to add a chamfer to the same design you have been using for 3 years. It's time to try something else HTC!

Did HTC ditch the front facing speakers? Looks like there's a speaker grill next to the charging port... ?

Looks just as slippery as the previous generation...

No wireless charging?
Just because it's not adhered to the back doesn't mean it won't be included. The wireless charging coils are often adhered to both the back and battery which begs the question which side is adhered to first.

I'm betting there will be wireless charging.

I'd trade wireless charging for boom sound speakers.
Loud speakers are important to me, front, and bottom or rear facing. That's a big reason why I still use a Droid Maxx.
Do less people care about sounds these days?

Battery is also important, which is another reason why I didn't grab the M9. I've heard horror stories about bad battery life on that thing.
I use Waze for at least 2 hours per day and stream music for the a min of 4 hours. My Maxx can handle that easy.
I do plug it in sometimes when I'm using GPS.

I wanted an M9 so bad, but I think it would've let me down big time.

Not sure which phone to get next.

Get an old Sony xperia z3v, it has the best of all world's except device support :)
I just did some research on that phone. It looks pretty decent. What's with the Verizon logo on front and back? Dang.

I'm more leaning towards an S7 or wait to see what the M10 has to offer..

I kinda wish the Droid Maxx 2 was the same as the Maxx only faster.

I played around with that and the Turbo 2 and they're both horrible IMO.

Who knows, maybe I'll pick up the Sony for now.

Thanks so much for the tip! I honestly never even considered a Sony before.
