1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

How will this work? Will a 2.2 OTA update delete the rooted 2.1 ROM? Do I have to block the 2.2 update somehow? If not, I'm assuming I just won't be able to receive 2.2 at all.

    What's the deal here?

Yes the 2.2 ota update will overwrite your rooted 2.1 OS. That being said, many of the ROMs out there have an overwritten code to block a OTA update from VZW.
The way I blocked my OTA updates is to change
    "/system/etc/security/otacerts.zip" to "/system/etc/security/otacerts.bak"
