How to use the profile setting

Im trying to find out how to set up profile once I press the menu > profiles from the home screen. I want to be able to click a "work" profile and have it automatically change to vibrate or a mow ring setting and then have all the settings back to normal when I a "home" profile. Any help would be appreciated.

From what I've seen, the profiles won't save ringtones, just wallpapers and other app icons/widgets on the homescreens. I think the app locale from the market will do what you are looking for, but it's not free.

The tasker app on the marketplace will do what you want. It'll also do it automatically based on your GPS location so you don't have to worry about pressing buttons. I pad $6.30 for it. You can get it on the marketplace but if you buy it from their site, you get a 7-day free trial. Tasker for Android
