How to uninstall an APK application

Hello, I downloaded a keyboard APK (touch input) for my Droid but I don't want it anymore and I was wondering if there was anyway to remove this APK? And is it harmful to my phone to have it on the keyboard option in settings? Thank you! =)

From the homescreen, press Menu> Settings> Applications> Manage Applications.

OR

If the .apk is still on your SD-Card, you can do the same process as you did to install it.
No, I doubt it's harmful to your phone.
