how to take screenshot of desktop via camera button

    Home++ [a home replacement app] offers the ability to take screen shots of your desktop with the camera button. In the forum for h++, someone asked if there was an app to take screenshots of other apps, and no one had an idea of one...Guessing no one's developed the ability to take screen shots of stock home. The one's you see are generally made using the computer and dev software.

    drocap from the market will, but it requires root

    if youre note rooted, youll need Home ++ or use the ddms tool on SDK

    I am using Home++ and my camera button takes screen shots ... Anyone know where the toggle switch is to turn this feature off? Thanks.

    It's in menu>preferences. Can't remember what EXACT thing it's under...MAYBE graphics. But you'll find a checkbox in preferences to disable it.
