How to stay safe on public Wi-Fi?
Don't access anything that requires you to input any user names or passwords.
I carry a spare Galaxy S3 with no personal information for public wifi access.
I don't use public wifi, ever.
I don't have enough data stream so that i have to use public Wi-Fi.
But it will be bother to take a spare phone every time.
I have 2 phones with me at all times even though only one is strapped to my side. I multi-task.
Every now and then I get hung on hold with some random support person and need to get other "stuff" done.
There's an app I used to use called DroidSheep Guard whenever I connected to public wifi
I could use my VPN if I needed to.
This is the safest bet, but can be confusing to set up
It's so nice not having to worry about when or where to use WiFi. Unlimited data FTW!
