Just go to settings > sounds > notification

Ringdroid automatically saves its tones to the system

Are you sure you saved them as notification tones and not ringtones? When you save them there is an option and the default is ringtone, this changes where they show up.

Ahh thank you very much, that was the problem I was saving them as a ringtone and not as a notification

Ya I ran in to that a while back. If you want an easy fix so you don't have to manually trim them again just open the ringtone in ringdroid and highlight the whole thing and resave it as a notification.
