How to set alarm

Hello...newbie here. How do I set the alarm if the phone is not docked.
I have no problem setting it when I put it in the dock. I can't figure it out.

Go to clock app in your app tray

Well...... I have the first generation Motorola Droid. There is no clock in the applications. This alarm is part of the original programming. When I put it in the dock the alarms and alarm settings come up on the screen. That's the screen I need to get to when it's not in the dock

Sorry....I just found the clock application on the screen. Stupid me. I looked and looked and missed it....Until now. Thanks for the help

Searched for a thread and this is the one I found! Any way been having a problem with my alarm tone not working. Its set to mp3 sound from SD card. In notification bar it says alarm silenced after 0 minutes. Don't know if this is a SW issue or SD card issue. SD card is the original from my Droid 1. Any suggestions would help! TIA
