How to root?

    I have tried rooting my droid x with the term emulator instructions but after following the first line i get path does not exist. What am i doing wrong and is there a better way?

    I don't know much about the x but I'm sure there is a much easier way than that. One that doesn't include the emulator

    Search the internet for "1 click root" for Droid x. Doesn't get any easier.

    make sure youre reading the code correctly. rooting with the terminal is pretty simple but you have to recognize that there are spaces some places that are needed

    +1 on terminal emulator rooting. I never got the drivers to work in my computer. I spent a lot of time working on it, just decided to do the te version and it was much simpler. Just follow the inputs To the letter, or space, or capital. So much easier to do everything on the phone itself...

    I have followed to the t while typing out the commands the one click would not work either it just hangs there after hitting the root key on the one click.
