I am having same issue.. I dont htink there is a root solution yet for this system update. I worked on it all day yesterday.

I used Matt G's utility contained in the sticky above to root .181. I used version 1.41 though, not the latest version. However, the latest version should work. Make sure you extract the Utility .zip to its own folder, do not extract it to c:\\.

I rooted just fine with the utility 1.51 update. It's as simple as before.

I have found a version of Matt's utility that runs on Mac. Called RazrUtilityLinux173Full.zip. Tried to root (menu option 2) and it went through all and seem to run to completion. But I still do not have root on my Razr with OTA 181. I may try to rerun it as someone said it worked the second time.

Any suggestions?
