Having successfully decoded your statement, I would ask this. Why are you restarting your phone so often? Okay, that's not really an answer. You can debootstrap your droid within Koush's app, and uninstall that app. You should be fine after doing that. And, after all, you've already purchased it, so you can always go back and get it again. Hope that answers your question.

Could you be a little more specific shagoyjo? I'm wanting to do the same thing to my DX. Don't reboot all that often but it's just annoying to have to go through the whole process of going through recovery EVERY time. How would I ""debootstrap my droid within Koush's app" ....what app....clockworkMOD?

I have done this and it works.

1. Get root explorer in the market
2. Uninstall the bootstrap app
3. Go into root explorer to system/bin
4. In top right corner tap r/w
5. Delete the file called hijack
6. Delete logwrapper
7. Rename logwrapper.bin to just logwrapper
8. Reboot and it should be gone.

My D2G never reboots into clockwork. I haven't used it in a few months.

Phone would reboot into clockwork if you uninstall bootstrapper app. This app starts every time phone boots and removes the flag (deletes a file) which, if exist, on next reboot, will force clockwork to load (clockwork script creates it). The idea is if something goes wrong, phone automatically to go into clockwork recovery so you can restore backups/etc. Flag gets created every boot when phone loads the bootstrap script and gets deleted uppon successful boot. So if you had ever bootstrapped your phone, make sure you keep the bootstrapper application there (do not uninstall it), or every time you reboot you will have to go thru recovery.

I got Bootstrapper off the free link on Koush's website. Now that I'd like to update it, I'm gonna buy it from the market. Will it update over Bootstrapper, or will I need to uninstall Bootstrapper to install the new version?

I just realized I'm in the D2G forums. Hope it's the same process.
