How to prep a phone for ebay

I want to sell a phone on ebay, but its my active line. How exactly do I clear the esn so a buyer will get it so they can activate it?

I assume I just activate this (my old phone) and do a factory reset on the one I'm selling?

I've never sold anything on ebay so I'm new to this process

Yes just activate another phone on the line, and if you have never rooted/ROMed the phone just do a factory reset and you'll be good to go

Also, if you're including the SD card, format it
