    Very Simple

This is how you can delete camera pictures and videos from your Samsung Galaxy S2.

    • Turn on the Samsung Galaxy S2.
    • Open up the Application list.
    • Tap My files.
    • Select DCIM.
    • Tap Camera.
    • Tap the Menu button and choose Delete.
I am sure it will work :icon_ lala:

    Simply Deleting Does Not Hide

Friends phone is in cops hands and they pulled up deleted pics and text messages. Simply pressing delete does not remove the files, just like the recycle bin on a Windows computer doesn't "really" get it gone.

How do i remove data so that law enforcement/anyone else with tools can't get the data? i am not investigated nor do I have illegal info to hide, but want to do my part at keeping my stuff private. Especially if selling this phone to upgrade.

I would think that you would have to overwrite those deleted files with something to make them unrecoverable.

Edit: Look up file shredder in the market. Check out the related apps.

By just pressing the "Delete" button we can't expect videos, photos or other data to be wiped out. I was quite surprised when my brother recovered some deleted pictures and photos that I deleted like 6-7 days back from my Galaxy S5 android. He did it by using some Android data recovery software (don't know the exact name of the app). Anyways, here is some useful info on how to erase data from android permanently: http://www.easyphonerecovery.com/how-to-permanently-erase-data-from-android.html
