The menu, home, back, $ search hard keys on bottom keep going dark. What setting will keep them on?

Mine is the same way - totally stock except for root. I am starting to REALLY dislike this phone.

Don't dislike the phone. It is great. It is the best I have had. However, some things are not easy to figure out. Like I bet there is an answer to tyis question, we just can't find it. Someone will tell us the fix.

There are only four (Menu-Home-Back-Search), and they don't move around. :) If you can memorize a phone number you can remember the order, right? Even in the dark when the screen is on there is enough ambient light to figure out where they are...at least I haven't had any issues so far.

FYI: I did do a couple of market searches and didn't find anything to help...sorry.

I expect that if you give it just a little more time your finger will subconsciously go to the right spot for each key...I don't really even think about it any more.

Yep, that is how I do it now. There is no ambient light, when they are off, they are dark. Something tells them to turn off, so we just have to figure what and tell it to stop.

    Thanks
