how to install z4root on droid x with 2.2

I've downloaded the apk, but am I supposed to dl it to my phone directly from the browser or to the computer first? it did download to my phone but when I try and open and extract it with astro file it says "error listing files for zip file. I'd really love to get this to work as the other methods seem over my head. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Here is the one that droid life posted. Try redownloading with your phone and try opening through astro again. Don't long press and extract apk's. Just press once and open in apps manager then install http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WWQWQRSY
