when you say Droid 4 Utility your talkin about RSDlite 5.7? right??.....

I used RSDLite to go from GB to ICS, but I've been using the D4 Utility to go from leak to leak. Can someone enlighten everyone if it's possible to use them interchangeably or if RSD is exclusive to GB-to-ICS and D4U to ICS leak-to-leak?

My understanding is....that ur rooted and might have uninstall some pre- loaded apps, which brought u to where u are now. Unable to flash the ICS leaks

This part! U use RSDlite to flash the Gingerbread OTA...not Droid4 utility.

//From Stock Gingerbread (.215) or (.219) which ever,
//Use RSDlite 5.7 with the stock GB(.219) Fastboot files and re-flash the (.219) OTA.
//At this point u should have a fresh GB(.219) thts gonna have u starting with a CLEAN SLATE...

I don't think so, u use RSDlite to get back to GB, so u can go into stock recovery and install the ICS leak as instructed in the OP, and like u said, u use the D4U to go from leak to leak...

Thanks for clarifying. I know for sure you use D4U to go from leak to leak because I've done it at least 4x. I only went from GB to ICS once (I have no choice because you can't go back to GB). But I used RSDLite to do it when I did.

I think there are some apps missing. If I RSD the GB215 file which I have done. My phone fails the OTA update to 219 saying assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/app/LatinIME.apk", "7a324c7a2985804975ccdbb73dd7763cdb77f15", "451b97f3b7cf2176db748e275186c6c4120e39fa")
E:Error in /cache/Blur_Version.6.13.215.XT894.Verizon.en.US.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

When I used RSDLite to 215 would all the missing apps go back on phone

Hmm...
Why don't you use RSDLite to go back (.215) have the phone reboot and set up everything, then Use RSDlite to flash the (.219)...

why dont you flash (rsdlite) 215, have someone post the latinime.apk, install it, then try upgrading to 219 using the ota, then flash the leak.

I did. Thats where I am now. I will be working for the next few days and wont have time to tinker with phone until Saturday. I got the apk from a droid 4 dump here on the forum. Now getting error for the latinime.apk side loader or something. I will edit this post when I get on other computer and see what it said

Alright, I so want to flash an ICS rom. The only thing holding me back, is the data connection problems. Can anyone tell me if any of these problems have been fixed, for this leak, or even for the other roms (gummy, CM9, AOKP)? My wife had data problems on her GNex, and ended up returning it, so I know I don't want to have to deal with the data problems. I'd rather stay on GB until the official OTA comes out if that is the case still. Thanks in advance, guys.

Trouble with Part 3

"Download/extract one of the files above and copy only Blur_Version.6.13.219.XT894.Verizon.en.US.zip to your phone's external SD card"
Where would I find, "Blur_Version.6.13.219.XT894.Verizon.en.US.zip"

It's in the D4.6.16.2**.zip file.

Haven't really encountered any bugs, so far its stable...glad I updated to ICS, I'm really enjoying it, other then the fact that Flash isn't offered passed GB..(insert)Sad Face(Insert) I'm good with it..
