So Sam.. you did all of these correctly?

    8. Click install Flash_Image.

    9. Now click Rename Recovery-from-Boot.P

    10. Scroll all the way to the bottom of DRH and click Flash 99.2b Recovery.

    11. Click unmount.

    12. Click Sync.

    13. At this point you will have 0.99.1b Recovery, you want to have 0.99.2b. So click this link to download 0.99.2b http://downloads.sholes.info/recovery-0.99.2b.img

    14. Once downloaded plug your Droid into your computer and mount it.

    15. Copy the 99.2b Recovery file to the ROOT of your sd card. Unmount your droid.

    16. Go to the marketplace and download Terminal Emulator.

    17. Open Terminal Emulator and type
    "su" press enter and allow
    "flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-0.99.2b.img"
    "reboot recovery"

So you are stuck at 17 and it's not doing anything? What's the specific error?

"su" gives me a new line that starts with "#", which as i understand, is ok.

typing "flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-0.99.2b.img" and hitting enter gives me the error "flash_image: not found"

Fwiw, both versions of roothelper (paid and free) FC a lot on me. Almost automatically the first time, and even then, I had to try a few times to get the system mounted. After it was, everything worked all right...

Double check to make sure the Tools directory is on the root drive of the sdcard. If it is make sure flash_image is in the Tools directory.

Does it just say "Gallery" ? or are you using the "Media Gallery" ? Gallery is no longer on my 7.2 version of bugless. I now have Media Gallery which is from 2.1.

well if you have it in root too then you might be confusing the link to where it's spose to run from. I'd delete the one of your root sdcard. The correct location is spose to be in Tools.

It's possible that when DRH download your root tools that it may have not downloading correctly.. a corrupted download thus flash_image is not executing correctly. I would probably start with DRH getting the tools all over again to make sure.

Thanks for the reply drmcstford, I have just been able to make it work. It took ten times of FC and restart but the busybox and flash image both finally worked. Problem is I now have the same problem as Sam...

naw man.. I wouldn't go that route. I googled your issue and basically what I'm seeing is flash_image is either not installed (all you did was just download it) or you don't have access (root) to execute it. Like I said.. I'd reboot.. redo the DRH part.

I returned to Terminal Emulator and followed step 17. After typing these two lines my phone rebooted and is now on the screen with the exclamation triangle. Is this right? now what do i do?
