For some reason when I get to the step to input "flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-0.99.2.b.img" in terminal emulator, I get a message that the file was not found. But when I look in Astro or Linda, I can see the "recovery-0.99.2.b" file on the root of my sdcard. Can someone please clue a noob in on what I am doing wrong? Thanks for the help. I love this forum. It has helped me out since buying my Droid!

Did you type in su then press enter first?
If so then the file must not be in ROOT try deleting it and then redownloading it and putting it back into ROOT

Very nice. I was going to do the same thing, but figured within a day or two someone else would do it, I was right.

all the information is out there, its just scattered, in and all honesty confusing if you are new to it.

    Good job.

(And, for all you people who installed it, waht do you think? Rocks, right?)

Yes, I did type "su" then pressed enter. Clicked on allow, and followed the rest of the step. I will try deleting it and go from there. Thanks!
