Just bought a droid 2. I like the native home software, however I cannot hide the icons that I am not using. Is there a way to hide them? I know with pandahome you are able to do it, but I kind of like the the native home software. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Not with out a replacement home or to be rooted and rename the apps.

My question, when you're talking about hiding icons, are you referring to them in the app drawer? At which point, no you can't without using a replacement launcher. If you're talking about getting them off the home screen itself, just long press and drag to the newly visible trashcan at the bottom of the screen (drop when both turn red).
