I just rooted my Droid and I was looking to get wireless tether. I downloaded the application from the marketplace but I guess I need a new kernal that allows for the wireless tether? Does anyone know where I would find this, and how to install it? I'm not looking to overclock or anything, I just want the wireless tethering capabilities...

My personal favorites. Pick the right one for your android OS and you should be golden. Has instructions and link for the actual wireless tether .apk from google code.

    good luck

What version of Android are you on that you can't tether from the stock kernel? All 2.2 kernels are netfilter enabled because the tethering was supposed to be built in... :)
