I was in deep search in a car dealership. Twice the browser got hung up and I wanted to exit and start again. How do I get out? The "last" key did not help. How do I just close the browser? Thanks.

go it to:
1) settings
2) applications
3) Manage applications
4) settingd
5) filter
6) click all
7)find the browser and click on it
8) scroll down to you see force stop

Yes. I get that far, but I really do not see the native browser app in there. What am I missing? Thanks.

I think you're not hitting filter. The only reason it won't show up is if you don't hit filter.

On the other hand you can install Task Panel, just don't set it to auto kill anything and simply tap on the browser. That will also kill the browser for you in one step.

This is the only reason I have any type of task killer at all, is to handle the browser when it misbehaves. Otherwise I do not recommend them.
