a friend of mine just told me about jit and i dont know how to activate it or use it
It's a bit of a pain in the arse, requiring access to the ADB terminal.
Ask yourself, though.. why do you want to do JIT? It's disabled by default because it causes a lot of things to break.
If you still want to go through with it, instructions here
Before I went to the Froyo roms, I enabled JIT on various 2.1 roms and it was never stable. It would run fine for a day or so and then the reboots and FC's would start. When I disabled it, everything would go back to normal. It is fast though. I would get about 20-25% better Linpack scores and much better setcpu benchmarks (short).
2.2 will have it enabled by default IIRC.
