How to delete widgets from home menu

New guy here.

I put several widgets on the home screen. Press and hold a blank area of home screen then selected analog clock.

Now I want to delete the analog clock.

How do you do it???

Long press the widget and drag to trash can.

The trash can what's underneath the application so I could see it

Holding it, while red, over the trashcan long enough, and you will have the option of uninstalling the program from the phone. System apps cannot be uninstalled this way, only you-downloaded ones can
