I've uninstalled the update from market, but the stupid thing still appears in my apps and says it needs updating....isn't there someway to completely remove this thing from my droid? It must have come along with the gingerbread update and I don't want it or use it. I'm rooted so if I just knew where it was I'm thinking I can use root explorer to get rid of it.

Anyone know where this app sits?

Id actually like to know also. I also want to remove the google "videos" app as well. Rooted OG droid with GPA16 from pete here btw. Cant figure out how to get rid of it. I tried

su
mount -o rw,remount /system
rm -f /system/app/BooksPhone.apk
pm uninstall com.google.android.apps.books

but it just removed all the updates and not the app itself.
