I just installed CyanogenMod 5.0.5.7 on my droid, and noticed that all the vibration settings are different than the stock settings, which I had gotten used to. Previously when I would receive a notification (whether a text, email, facebook, or whatever else other than a phone call) my phone would vibrate in two short consecutive bursts. Now it vibrates once for several seconds, just like a phone call (except just once, not repeatedly). How can I change back to the two vibration bursts for notifications?

    Thanks

anyone...? I've since realized that this is only for incoming texts that it has one long buzz rather than the two short consecutive buzz's. Any ideas on how to change that?

I am not running Cyan 5.0.5.7 right now to verify, but maybe he uses the modified messaging app. Settings > notification Settings > Vibrate pattern

I don't have a notification settings panel when I go to settings on my phone... but that sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. just don't know how to find it...
