how to cancel auto choosing gallery

The chat program I use automatically goes to the gallery when I want to insert a picture. I set it to this but I forgot how to clear the default selection. I want to be able to select a pic in my dropbox.

One of 2 possibilities and both should be able to be fixed in the same way. Let's assume it's the chat program that set the Gallery as the default rather than the Gallery as the default for pics. Go to settings - more - apps. Scroll left to all and find your chat app. Tap it and clear settings/defaults and cache then restart. You may need to set some things up again in the chat app. Or do the same for Gallery. In Gallery it would only need to rebuild some cache but otherwise there will be little effect.
