How to block a number from texts?

So I've only had my bionic for 5 days...all of a sudden I'm getting smutty texts from a phone number I'm not familiar with....is there a way to block a number from texting me?? Thanks!!!

Logon to My Verizon. Click on Support, then Account. Click on Block a Number on the right side of the screen, then add that number. FYI, You have to be the primary account holder to do this.

Extreme Call Blocker on the Market works as well. That's what I use to block texts and phone calls
