Hey guys, first post here, but I thought i'd post a question. How much data did you use in the first 10 days or so of having your phone? Big red claims i used 311189 kb in data. I highly doubt thats right... If that were in kiloBYTES that would be somewhere in the area of 290 gb! if it were in kiloBITS, that would be somewhere around 30gb!!! keep in mind I havent used the mobile hotspot or any tethering apps, just downloading 7 pages of apps! lol! any idea if this is a fail on big red's part or if I actually could have used 300 gb??? :icon_eek:

ok sorry about that. Id consider myself a fairly advanced user, but i always thought that data (internet) was the same as the type of data on a hard drive (kb,mb,ect) but still, thats quite a lot, isnt it?

I use about 15 gig's a month. Granted i'm on Sprint but Sprint and Verizon both have unlimited data so far so you're in the clear. When i got my Evo in June i did the same thing, checked my data seen the kilobytes and almost craped lol. Hope this helped

    It is the same.

Your 311,189 KB divided by a little over 1,000 KB's in a MB would put you around 300 MB.

Your figure would have to be 311 million, not thousand, KB's in order to be the 290 GB figure you thought it was.
