How do you replace a Kernel? anaswered

SD_7.1.1.zip doesn't have a folder called Kernel and the one I got from ChevyNo1 does. Nor a file called Kernel.

How do I combine these two files?

    SD_7.1.1.zip
    ChevyNo1-1.1Ghz-medV-7slot-update.zip

I'm not sure about combining the files but if u want to flash a new kernel u can just flash it like a Tom. I usually do s back up first just in case. When I flash I don't wipe anything either. I'm not sure if that's what ur asking...

You dont combine anything. Flash the SD_7. 1.1 file, reboot into android then go back into recovery and flash the Chevy kernel file the reboot into android.

The kernel file will replace what it needs to. Dont worry about which folder is in which file. The dev makes it work.
