How do you apply a skin you make to a specific Widget?

I know you can't give me a step by step but maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I am a computer engineer and know Linux fairly decently.

I am really looking to skin a few widgets like the Audio Manager one for example.

    Thanks!

You have to pull the .apk and then open it as a .zip. Once you're inside, you can edit the PNG files inside the res folder.

With a really sharp, thin knife? Sorry, just couldn't resist.
