How do I upgrade to GB and keep root access?????

I recently updated to GB while rooted and had to sbf back to recover my DX. I want to update to GB again but I want to keep root access.

Can anyone help me figure this out I've been reading for the last 2 days can't find what I'm looking for.

Where do I search for it? I'm kinda a novice, I'm pretty techno savoy, but I've just recently got into the whole rooting thing, and I'm trying to learn about flashing rom's too.

Look in the ROMs subforum of the droid x forum. Three or four threads from the top is a thread for the prerooted gb 596 complete with instructions.

I feel like an idiot for asking, but I can't figure out how to download the part 1 & 2 files

The links take me to a page that shows me the files but doesn't let me download it.

Please help

I had to get mine while on a pc. Just transfer them to the sd card and you should be good to go.

It takes me to a mega upload page that only has links to download ads

If its Mega up load there should be a timer that counts down to zero after it gets to zero it sould be a clickable link to download file.
