I would like to install busybox on my phone, but it says I must have nand unlock beforehand, so could someone please explain how I can do this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

They only time I ever installed busybox was when I was rooted and I obtained it by installing Titanium which offers to install a busybox for you. I have never seen anyone do what you are discussing.

lol, I'm really not sure I just know that Titanium insisted upon having one in there. You won't actually be able to access busybox , it's not going to appear in your app drawer or anything.

So now I have to ask. It doesn't appear you know what busybox is for (I don't either) so why do you want to install it?

Pardon my ignorance about all of this stuff, as this is all new to me. I got my first smartphone (droid 2) about 2 months ago and was unhappy with the speed of it, so I began reading this forum and decided to root my phone and installed a liberty rom, along with a honeycomb theme. Since I have rooted my phone I have been pleased with the speed of it and the battery seems to last a little longer as well.

I think I read in a someones post that "busybox" was a must have app, so I figured I would try it out.

Lol.. it is very possible.

If I was smart I would quit while I'm ahead and before I totally screw my phone up, since I have no clue about what I'm doing.

LMFAO This made me laugh.

Look, you probably already have "busybox" installed on your phone.
It comes with a lot of ROMS, and things like "Titanium Backup" install newer versions of it. You're good to go bro.
