How do I record a phone conversation?

Yeah, I think I need a real simple hack to do the job. I hope to find a widget that will record a phone call in stealth mode. Hmmmm.

It's not illegal- depending on the state

It is not illegal. The controversial issue is whether or not you can use what you record in court. Recordings, if the other person does not know or does not give permission, are not admissable in court. HOWEVER, there is no law to say that they cannot be permissible in criminal proceedings or mediation and other legal things besides court. At least this is how it is in Washington. I am 3 years into a Criminal Justice program, hence why I know this. Check with your local sheriff's department if your truely concerned.
