1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

How do I backup my droid(apps)?

I am rooting my droid and I know it will get wiped when I root so how do I backup my apps because I don't want to have to go to the android market and have to reinstall/buy all of them again.

1- sinse you not rooted yet you can use MYBACKUP PRO with i have and is ok or you can use aPPMONSTER (free) and I recomen it.
    bogh work the same.

one thing you need to know none of these or any other will back up any protected app no matter if it is pay or free one.

but at less you will be able to back up 80-90 % of your apps.

2- Any app you have pay for you dont has to buy it agan ever as long you use the same email that u use the first time.

ater you root your phone make sure u use the ssame email and whenever you go to the market place you'll see them and it will say PURCHASED so you just download it again.

3- I recomend you after you root the phone get TITANIUM BACK UP this one is the best back up app outhere the difference bettewn this one and the 2 above is that this one will back up all your apps even the protected ones. plus do a nandroid back. NANDROID BACK UP is a must.

All your paid apps are linked to your gmail account you used to set your phone up. So once you root and you sign back into your google account your paid apps will re-sync with your phone. If they do not, go into the market > menu > downloads there you will see a list of the apps you have previously downloaded. The paid apps that did not restore to your phone will have "purchased" beside them. Open them and say install. Also some of the free apps will show there and you can do the same thing, open them and reinstall.

I use Mybackup Pro and I can tell you I have not had any apps not backed up. However, it prefers to run on rooted phones. Its a pain but when I first rooted I made a list of the apps I loved and then once I was rooted I either let google restore them or I searched and redownloaded them.

When I search for those apps I don't even see them in the app store any more... since rooting.

    Nandroid backup.

    Astro backup works for apps.

    Titanium backup works for apps.

    ChevyNo1's bkapps -c and rstapps -c works.

    Use search.

You won't have to buy them again and if you give your phone about 5 to 10 minutes depending on how many apps you had installed, it will restore them for you.
