    Just heard a commercial on radio for Verizon galaxy nexus. They stated that it runs on the latest android platform. Is that true if they haven't pushed 4.0.4 yet? Just a thought!

    The platform is Ice Cream sandwich (which is the latest platform). The VZW Galaxy Nexus is just not on the most recent build of ICS.

    4.0.0=ICS
    4.0.x=incremental builds, ie bug fixes and other improvements.
    Same "platform" just with a few updates.

    Yes it's still true. ICS is the latest platform and they can proudly use that as a selling point
