I have sholes 2.0.3 installed and its working great. I just want to try a different theme an just have a different look for my droid. How can I do this? I'm guessing I have to flash the rom again. I went into sholes updater and clicked on 2.03 again and selected it. It then said something about "you don't really want to download the rom again..." Then it gave me several options, one to download, one to flash, an another I can't remember. So if I want to switch to the smoke glass theme, do I just hit flash again and then that will take me back to adding an removing everything that I want. Am I on the right track or is this not possible?

Flash the rom again (don't download) and go thru the steps exactly as you had before.... the very last step it will ask what theme you want.... it will give you the choice of "none" or "smoked glass".... select smoked glass.... there you go :)

Absolutely. Just keep your nandroid backups.... never know when something may go awry... and the backup will let you restore your device to working condition.

the nandroid backups was what the SPRecovery did correct? Just wondering cause you mentioned about keeping the nandroid backups, am I gonna have the option to delete them or something during this reflash? Sorry if dumb questions.

Yes, the backup is what SPRecovery did.

You would have to manually delete them from your SD card.... so you won't be prompted to delete. Just giving you a word of advice to hang on to them. Even if you move them from your SD card to say your computer, just keep them handy, you never know when you'll need one :)

ughhh I did the flash to smoke glass and it worked great but I still don't have the 2.1 launcher. When the option came up there was a asterick next to 2.1 Launcher, and I'm positive about it. Why is it not showing up?

Did you get an option when your phone booted (at the home screen) to choose Home or Launcher?

no it just went to the regular launcher. Or I should say the smoked glass launcher. I can go into "Home Switcher" and switch to the "Launcher" but I feel like that's just the launcher I had installed previously, not the one that should of downloaded when I flashed the rom.

Have you tried switching to Launcher? See if it's what you're looking for?

yeah I got it, just thought the 2.1 launcher included in this rom was more stable then leaked apk of the 2.1 launcher. I guess I was just expecting a look like the picture of screen with the time of 1:26

I also don't have the blue battery. Maybe that stuff isn't included in sholes rom, I'm not sure.

You are right. The themed 2.1 launcher and blue battery are new additions to the smoked glass theme. Sholes mod has an older version of that theme. I don't think we can get the new version unless we install that entire custom rom. I am not gonna give up sholes mod for a theme.

Does anyone know if it would cause any harm if I transferred the back ups from my memory card to my home PC? Just want to free up some memory from the card.
