Something like this website free wi-fi Pennsylvania Philadelphia Pittsburgh

Something that you can open and it will search for FREE WiFi spots near you and perhaps map them. It would probably have to be linked to some online website like gas buddy and speedtraps that users would "report" a location, and perhaps stuff like, whether you need to ask for a password or if its totally open. Whether it has a filter that blocks "inappropriate sites like gun sites or porn or whatever. (I know that Panera Bread blocks many gun forums). Whether or not it works from the parking lot.

Ths could be useful if you have ****ty service somewhere, but maybe there is a McDonald's with free wifi around the corner.

There already is one. It is called Free Wi-Fi Finder by Jwire! I have used it around the country!

Search in the App market for: Wi-Fi Finder or Jwire

This works well for me! dancedroid
