Season 3 of Netflix House of Cards was uploaded a few days ago and fans are binge watching. Well we want an area we can talk house of cards and here it is. I want to try and make this thread spoiler free to give members a chance to catch up on certain episodes as some may be on episode 1 and others may be an episode away from wrapping up season 3.
So let's talk House of Cards.

Season 3 is just as awesome as the other season though it focuses more on him in the white house.

This is not a spoiler: But I like how they flip things on its head. In reality the Republicans are pro job and lowering entitlement spending while the Dems are about raising minimum wage in the show it is 180. Just found that very interesting and humorous.

I'm already on episode 7. Personally I don't think it's as good as the first two seasons, but it IS good.

Im on episode 6 or 7, I think it is a different viewpoint and approach. Before it was him trying to get into the white house by any means necessary and he was willing to do what ever it took to be top dog. Now he is top dog and is having to balance the pressures of the office while fighting off people trying to do the same thing to him that he did to others. Really nice dynamic and nice change of perspective going from one going from Jack to King and now being King trying to stay on top.

I watched the entire season 3 over the weekend. Without letting anything out of the bag for those who have not watched yet... I had a problem with the person that was muscled into the US Ambassador position. That person didn't have the experience to handle the job.

In a few episodes in. Jury is still out on whether it's as good as the other seasons, but it's definitely not bad.

I think I agree with Jeffrey, though I also feel for that person not being taken seriously in the role because of certain factors.

I'm interested to see how things shake out.

Im the same way hence me cutting the cord. I stare at a blank screen more than I do a screen with something on it. But I do manage to watch a few show here or there thanks to Hulu, Sling tv, and Netflix.
