I am trying to find out what the house icon means. It is next to the 4G icon right above the bars. It looks like a house with rings above it. It is not the "R" that means roaming. This only appears when I am at work. It flashes throughout the day. I've tried to attach the screen shot, not sure if it worked.

I think it means Home as opposed to Roaming.

It is just odd that it only appears when I am at work. I also get a beep when I answer calls on my phone while at work. I wonder if the two are connected.

Mine mainly appears in the morning when I'm booting up, like when it's searching for a cell signal.

It's the femtocell which is called a network extender by big red. Keep in mind that it only carries 3g. Since ics doesn't have a means to shut off 4g your network extender will not work properly until you add an app that lets you turn off lte.

That sounds logical. I have a Verizon Network Extender at home.
