Nice you feel that way, but there is nothing wrong with how android devices work on VZW

I like the iPhone for the games and the retina screen. I an excited for it even though I am happy with my droid 2. Maybe when I have an upgrade.

There is something wrong with every phone. Droid apple anything. Someone will always find something wrong. There is no such thing as a perfect phone everything has a draw back.

I for one will be sticking with droid. I just don't like apple.

if yoda had a droid he would be running darkslide.

    $199 for the 16GB,
    $299 for 32GB
-- mobile hotspot included! Up to 5 devices.

A bit much, even after a rebate for me.
I like my Droid so I don't plan on getting one. I wanted to tell my coworker who has a cell phone, iTouch and an old Palm. She would do well with an iPhone since she's familiar with a iToch. Oh, she's not here to tell... and she could preorder on Feb 3.

+1. the iphone is not going to be bug free, and android definitely isnt bug free. every phone, every manufacturer will run into some issue somewhere

I think its great that such great phones are coming to Verizon. I hope this will get more people to sign up and in effect lowers our rates....I doubt that. But no I am not interested in the Iphone at all. I think Android is more interesting and better looking. Can't wait for the Droid Bionic to drop.

Read the FAQs from Verizon on the iPhone before you get too excited. They have not stated the price for data, and specifically said it will be available at a later time. If it was going to be the same as for other smartphones, why the delay in announcing the price? Will it be more? Certainly not less. Or will they limit it like ATT does, 2 GB for $25? Hope VZW gets the pricing out soon.

It's going to use the same data as every other VZW smartphone to date, it will be the same pricing structure as my current Droid.

    Some "analysts" aren't so sure.
    From Computerworld
Verizon iPhone data plans could hit $120 a month - Computerworld
Computerworld - Verizon Wireless hasn't announced the price of its monthly iPhone data plan, igniting speculation that the company plans to charge up to $120 monthly for unlimited data on top of voice and texting costs.
"Data plans for Verizon iPhone could range from $20 to $90 a month or even $120 unlimited a month," said Rob Enderle, an analyst at Enderle Group. "The iPhone uses an awful lot of data, so they will have to charge heavily for data and it will be fairly expensive."

Hope VZW announces something soon regarding the cost of the data package to end the speculation.

Charging $120/month for data would be the stupidest thing VZW could ever think of doing...that is not happening.

Most likely, you are correct. But what will the data plan be?
The "analysts" are speculating and others are opinionating and I'm waiting to see what VZW does. What VZW hasn't done as of this date is to say what the iPhone data package will be.

yeah i dont know wht the hold up is but $120 for just the data plan is unreasonable...i'm asking because i don't know, is there some reason the iPhone uses any more data then any other phone? or is it just the users historically use more?
