Yes it looks like bayouflyfisher did a good write up on the other thread.

Your battery usage screens look ok to me. Screen percentage looks a tad high though.

Ok I have tried everything that BayouFlyFisher suggested in the "frustrated thread", including putting screebl on my phone and I also bought tasker and have tried making profiles in that...still having major battery drain when the screen is off at night...any more thoughts or suggestions? Can this post be moved to tech issues?
    Thanks

Me again. You are not running an auto task killer or anti virus of any sorts are you?

You have tried a lot that should have worked. I am beginning to think there is a hardware or battery problem of some sort, but I do not know. Make a post in the other thread to see if Bayouflyfisher has any ideas.

Also maybe try a different rom...I am not saying its the rom at all, but just to troubleshoot I would try wiping cache/data, and install another rom entirely. Make sure you have a nandroid backup. You will loose your apps and data though and will have to reinstall. Only install the necessary apps and wipe batt stats on a full charge. Use the roms stock kernel, and see how battery lasts over night. If it works then you can start adding apps back to see if it is an app causing the drain. Maybe try metickone's frg83d.

But first I would see if bayou has any ideas if he is available, he is more knowledgeable than me. Secondly try a new rom (if you feel its necessary) just to test for drain. Thirdly I would buy a brand new battery that you can return if you are still having the problem.

I am pretty sure it is not the ROM, as I have had this issue on every ROM I have tried and I have tried them all...I should add that my phone is a refurb that I received after my orginal droid's charger port got messed up and was arcing everytime I plugged it in... I have already replaced the battery with a standard battery, so now I have 2. I switch back and forth to make it a whole day when I am away from home, and the issue persists with both batteries...so the issue has to be the phone right? I really don't want to call Verizon and tell them that the phone is having a hard time charging the battery because if they wanted to replace it they wouldn't give me a droid one, I would probably be stuck with a droid 2...But if it turns out that after trying all the tips provided by all the awesome members of this forum and still having no change, then I might have to call them. Especially if it gets any worse, right now I can make it thru the day with both batteries, but if it gets to where I am using 2 full batteries and not making it at least 8 hours, or it starts dying at night, then I will be left with no choice...

Yea I would call them. You have tried everything and it sounds like it is the phone. The d2 can be rooted but it is harder I believe because of its locked bootloader. Of course don't tell Verizon your d1 is rooted, it may void your contract. I would ask them for a d1 if you want one, they have plenty of them. Make sure you unroot before you send your phone back if they want it back.

I decided to reinstall the ROM last night and leave all my apps off...that was only other thing I could think of to try, as I had tried everything else...guess what? I went to to bed with 70% and when I woke up I still had 70%...whoohoo!! I just hope it lasts, and I wish I knew what app was causing the battery drain... I guess I will try installing apps one by one until I find the culprit...thanks for all you help

No problem, I am glad we are making progress!:) Let me know what happens and which app it might be. I wouldn't add too many back right away, just to see if the battery will still be ok without apps for a couple days.
