Ok after almost 4 and a half hours of heavy use, flashing all kinds of zips(Eiker83 and I are working on his theme for Sourcery), and having the screen on at 90 %, I am at 60% battery life... Pretty awesome !! If I can get 9 hours out of my battery I will be so happy. Thanks everyone

Ok, I went to bed around 4 am with 90% battery, when I got up at around 1 pm I still had 50%... not bad at all, I really wonder what is zapping all that battery at night? I had everything turned off, my data, my wifi,etc... so what could be the deal?Oh well it is wayyyyy better than it was:)

Mine hardly drops at all over night. Maybe like 10-20%. Is sourcery checking for updated files every so often? I haven't used sourcery so I don't know, but doesn't it use some sort if push method for certain things?

Sourcery does use a push method for updates and themes and such, but you have initialize them thru the Sourcery menu, by selecting install update, or install theme... it doesn't just do it by itself... The only other thing I can think of is I have beautiful widgets weather running, but that only comes on when the screen is awake I would think...I have no clue, but something is still eating thru the battery...

I even bought a second battery, just a regular one not an extended one, but it doesn't matter which one I use the problem still persists:unsure:

I don't think its beautiful widgets I have that too. Idk what is causing the drain? My screen is usually down to 60 or auto.

ok, last night my battery drained all the way... I did the same thing as the night before, made sure sync was off, ringer off, screen brightness at 60%(altho why this would make a difference when the screen is off anyway, I have no clue)... so something is really sucking my battery dry... I refuse to give up, I will figure this out eventually with the help of all the wonderful people here at droid forums of course ;)...

Cara, wouldn't it be simpler to just buy an extended battery?

    Mike,
I would just but an extended battery, but I am afraid the problem will persist, unless I can figure out what is draining my battery...I do have an extra standard battery, and between the 2 I would think I could make it a whole day, but that is not the case right now...

I am at a loss. Not sure what is going on. When you go into about phone and then battery usage, what does it say is using the most? Could be 2 bad batteries maybe?
