Turn the phone off. Power on while holding volume down. Once fastboot pops up, tap volume down until you see android recovery, then press volume up to select. Once the android guy shows up press both volume buttons together to get the menu. Navigate to factory reset and press power button to select. Then choose reboot when that's done.

I had a slight problem after the update. After I'd receive a call and hung up, a white light kept flashing. I'd have turn off/on the phone to make it go away. Finally, I did a factory reset, that did the trick, the flashing white light disappeared. So far so GREAT with the update.

Thanks guys for the advice , but now its doing it all over again...I will wait a lil to see if I can stand the pain...if not I will try a luncher pro...what do you guys think?

I don't think that LP will help, but I'm not sure what's happening.
What kind a SD card do you have? Is it seated firmly?

So i found a fix for my original problem (home not working) the problem:-( started when i had everything possible running on the homescreen; home FC...
The fix:) reduced the things i was running on my homescreen...
It just could not handle the task i guess..
