    1.) did you put the file in the root of your sd card?
    2.) did you rename it fom .zip to .apk?
    3.) do you already have home++ installed before typing in the commands?

    once. you have renamed the file from .zip to .apk and it is in the root of your phone copy and paste the following in to cmd one line at a time.

    adb shell
    su
    mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
    busybox cp /sdcard/home++launcher.apk /system/app/
    mount -o remount,ro /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
    sync

    I wish someone could customize the actual launcher so that it didn't have the same worthless icons in the bottom. How you design a launcher with no GMail or SMS icon link but has something like voice search is absolutely beyond me.

    To install with Terminal Emulator

    First make sure you change the file to an .apk, I've noticed people change it to "home++launcher.apk.zip, because they don't actually physically change the file type, in windows click tools, then click folder options, click view, than make sure you have "show file extensions" checked, than rename it to home++launcher.apk. Than drop it to the root of your SD card, go into Terminal Emulator, and type

    su
    mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
    busybox cp /sdcard/home++launcher.apk /system/app/
    mount -o remount,ro /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
    sync

    Then you should be good to go.

    plug in usb. mount phone. copy zip file to root of sd card. open up "Astro" file manager (free in market). find zip file in Astro. highlight and hold down of the file. click edit, then rename. erase the .zip at the end and replace it with .apk. In cmd then type in the commands in my previous post.
