We got our Droid phones in May 10 and love them. Got them connected to our own wireless at home but the last month they now won't connect with our IP address here at home. The will connect to other wireless in other homes/business's but not here. Someone told us to unconnect the powercord then the co ax cable, wireless router and then powercord and then connect back up the same way and that did nothing.

Also my husband doesn't know how to delete our network off the phone and maybe put it back if that would do it???

Any suggestions from anyone who understands all this?

Thanks,
D & J

In the wi-fi menu, if you long press on your network you can then select "forget network"

I tried the forget network and then redid the password and it does the same.

Does anyone know how to erase the network and then let it find it as a new one?

Thanks for the help.

Factory reset....

So the connection shows up but it just can't connect?

Has anything changed with your router settings? ie new router, changed password?

When you did the router reset.... did you power down all the computers attached, the wireless router, the modem itself, and your Droid?
Then power back on at the modem, let that fully load, then the router, let that load, then turn you phone back on (and PCs)? (typically this is the order to reset and re-boot)

Maybe a battery pull?
